Most "credit repair" companies use a one-step system that sends one round of dispute letters to the credit bureaus. This method is less desirable in that there is only about a 20% chance of anything being removed. And even if there is a modicum of success in removing some items, when the creditor submits their reports for the next reporting cycle to the Bureaus, the account information will repopulate onto the credit report.
